Nästa vecka åker jag till Amsterdam och tulpanerna....Next week I´m going to Amsterdam and the tulips.....

Vårt barnbarn EMELIE blir ..... Our grandchild EMELIE will be .....

imorgon tonåring. Varje barnbarn kommer att vid denna ålder få ett överkast.Hon önskade något i blått och resultatet ser ut så här.

Till slutkant har jag gjort bitar av remsorna som ingår i överkastet.
As border I took pieces from the stripes that the bedspred is made of.

Baksidan passande en tjej som gillar delfiner.
The backside suits a girl who likes dolphins.

Dax att vårstäda Syrummet ..... Time to tidy up the Sewing-room....

Denna vackra lampa är från slutet av 1700-talet och vi köpte den av en antikaffär för ca. 45 år sedan.Den har nu fått flytta in i mitt Syrum och den pryder verkligen rummet.
This beautiful lamp is from the end of the 18th century and we bought it 45 years ago from an antique shop.It has now moved into my Sewing-room and is really decorative there.

Kunde inte motstå denna lampa,som passar så fint in i Syrummet.Couldn´t resist this lamp,which fits so nice into The Sewing-room.

Något nytt under tallriken.....Something new under the plate....

Påsken är inte långt borta så ......Eastern is not far away so.......

Med denna påskduk vill Wila tacka Lenny och Sussi för att hon kommer att bo hos dom en vecka i mars när matte och husse är i Turkiet.
With this tablecloth Wila will Thank Lenny & Sussi,because she´ll live with them a week in March when her ´parents´ are in Turkey. (Wila is our wonderful cat)

Blev bitar kvar av Kuberna,så det fick bli några Mug Rugs. Some pieces were left from The Tumbling Blocks,so I made some Mug Rugs.

What am I doing right now?

As we are approaching December some of my works are connected to Christmas.Started with this stichery last year,but too late,so now I´m back and hopefully I´ll finish it.We may see......

These works,which aren´t ready yet, are for our grandchildren,the boys Lucas & Loke.The girls,Emelie & Alva got angels.

The tumbling blocks hasn´t got a final date.I often interrupt with new or old projects.I do what I feel for the moment.

Why do I create what I do?

I know that a lot of my creativity I´ve to THANK my grandmother for.She taught me how to knit,crochet(I´ve been told that I was 6, when I made my first mittens.Remember them as yellow)and she taught me how to weave.Later in my life I also bought a loom and we have spent many hours together.Not to forget she ´pushed me´ to start to sew clothes and believe,this has been a GREAT PART of my life.She´s always around me in one way or another. Lots of THANKS to you for taking your time to visit me in my sewing room. Hope you´ll soon be back.
