What am I doing right now?

As we are approaching December some of my works are connected to Christmas.Started with this stichery last year,but too late,so now I´m back and hopefully I´ll finish it.We may see......

These works,which aren´t ready yet, are for our grandchildren,the boys Lucas & Loke.The girls,Emelie & Alva got angels.

The tumbling blocks hasn´t got a final date.I often interrupt with new or old projects.I do what I feel for the moment.

Why do I create what I do?

I know that a lot of my creativity I´ve to THANK my grandmother for.She taught me how to knit,crochet(I´ve been told that I was 6, when I made my first mittens.Remember them as yellow)and she taught me how to weave.Later in my life I also bought a loom and we have spent many hours together.Not to forget she ´pushed me´ to start to sew clothes and believe,this has been a GREAT PART of my life.She´s always around me in one way or another. Lots of THANKS to you for taking your time to visit me in my sewing room. Hope you´ll soon be back.

ÄNTLIGEN är jag klar med överkastet ..... FINALLY I'm ready with the bedspread .....

Började för många år sedan med detta överkast, men under årens gång så har det blivit avbrott för många andra trevliga projekt.Den ljusa sida, baksidan som jag kallar den, får tillhöra sommaren. Started many years ago with this bedspread, but during the years it has been interrupted by many other nice projects.The light side, backside I call it, belongs to the summer.

Hjärtat är för min underbara man och de fyra små hjärtana symboliserar kärleken till våra barnbarn. The heart is for my wonderful husband and the four small hearts symbolic the love to our grandchildren.

Denna bild tillägnas våra mysiga katter. This 'picture' is for our cosy cats.

Höftväskan som kommer att bli perfekt bl.a till den tidigare gjorda jeanskjolen. The Hipsterbag which will, among other things, fit my earlier done jeans-skirt perfect.

Köpte detta tyg i USA och nu har det funnit sin slutplats. Bought this fabric in the US and now it has found its final place.

En jeanskjol till mig ....... A jeans-skirt for me ........

Kjolen har jag gjort av fyra olika par jeans.Dom har legat tills sig under ett antal år och PLÖTSLIGT av någon anledning så hade dom plats nummer ETT.......The skirt I made out of four pair of jeans.They have been waiting for this moment and SUDDENLY of some reason they had place number ONE.......

Stadkantsduk......

Nice table-cloth to have in my sewing-room.Tänk sååå mycket kul man kan göra med stadkanter.
